CASA DA ILHA, LEIRIA
| The House of the Island is located in an area delimited by the course of the River Liz. The area is located next to the entrance to the Cortes parish. The access to the island is done through a pedestrian bridge. The site includes an agricultural facility, which is the only existing building on the land. The limits of this construction served as the basis for the implementation of the new house, which will be covered in wood, with a roof in natural zinc. The bucolic environment of the island, with its dense vegetation, will surround the house and will be pictorially framed in its interior. |
